“My family has always been known to have a fondness for sci-fi films. To be honest I can’t remember which movie or many details about the first time I saw Godzilla. I remember seeing Godzilla destroy a city, and by my parent’s standard, I must have shown enough interest for my dad to buy me a 1985 Toho Imperial Godzilla figure. This toy from that day forward was the king of my toy collection. No other toy had destroyed as many cars, eaten as many Legos, or decimated every G.I. Joe time and time again. I can remember every battle, every story, and every adventure we had together. My love for all things Godzilla comes from this figure. Now almost three decades later, with the assistance of those who have built wonderful suits before me, I was inspired to take my adventures to the next level. I am so glad that I can dress up and become a figure which has influenced and inspired many generations.”
