“After making costumes of Marvel’s Man-Thing and the Licker from Resident Evil, we decided to go all out and design a brand new Godzilla. Hyper Godzilla was imagined as being a Godzilla that crossed all the generations into one form, taking from the past films individual parts and combining them. We really wanted a design that was familiar, and instantly recognizable, but bring something new to the table at the same time. While the Hyper G may not be perfect, for a first attempt we and many fans think that he turned out great.
Now, presented to you, are the videos chronicling his construction and various photos of the finished product. To anyone wanting to start out their costuming experience with the King, these suits do take a lot of time, and patience, but in the end, I’m sure that you will find the journey to be incredibly fun and worth while. If you hit any slow spots, just remember, keep at it, and never give up!”

Making Hyper Godzilla: 30 min video
I present to you a “semi” complete compilation of the pictures I took of the construction of the Hyper Godzilla costume. To make sure that Youtube doesn’t disable the audio this time around, I set all the photos to a podcast style audio telling about how the costume came to be, why it looks the way it does, some fond memories, and a bunch of other stuff. Do be warned though, the audio is a bit low, so headphones may be required.
